Elitecore Technologies, an Indian IT product company, has been recognized as the Winner at the 7th NASSCOM Innovation Awards, presented at the NASSCOM India Leadership Forum, 2011. Elitecore was chosen the best innovator in the “new technology advancement” category, selected from around 300 other IT companies, for its breakthrough Layer 8 innovation in Cyberoam UTM security appliances.

Cyberoam UTM’s Layer 8 technology was considered the winning entry for its ability to tie “end user identity with network security” across the entire range of Cyberoam UTM appliances, and by allowing IT managers complete visibility and controls over online activities in the network.

The NASSCOM Innovation award comes on the heels of Cyberoam becoming the only Indian company to be rated “Visionary” by Gartner in its Magic Quadrant for Unified Threat Management, and becoming the No.1 UTM player in India according to an IDC report.
