The Athenee Hotel in Bangkok hosted the 1st Sangfor Innovation Summit this past weekend from September 13th-15th with customer and partner representatives from 12 countries & regions including Greater China, South Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam and Pakistan which E-rong Consultants is representative for Thailand distributor.
Dr. Gu Liang, Sangfor’s Group Chief Science Officer and Director of the Sangfor Research Institute, inspired participants with a live demonstration and a live vendor comparison of the power of the new Sangfor AI powered Neural-X and Engine Zero network protection elements, earning an enthusiastic round of applause and animated conversation.
Jason Yuan, VP of Products & Marketing for Sangfor Technologies kicked off the event with a presentation on “How IT Enables Digital Transformation” and the ways Sangfor alleviates security, compliance, skilled staffing shortage, and revenue generation pain points for businesses in every spectrum. Jason’s guidelines for CIO’s like simplification of cloud infrastructure through hyperconvergence with HCI, simplification of desktop operation with VDI, multi-layered security management with AI powered security and new SaaS offerings laid the foundation for Sangfor to introduce our newest and most groundbreaking innovations generated by customer and IT industrial needs.
Kaden Zhang, Group VP and President of International Business shared his 17 years of experience with Sangfor and how we’ve grown from the dreams of a few inspired individuals to be powered by the dreams of thousands. Mr. Zhang detailed how Sangfor is poised to grow internationally with valuable innovations and commitment to R&D tailored to the needs of customers both domestic and abroad. Sangfor shares Kaden’s dream of making IT simpler and more secure, fulfilling the IT needs of all users, and becoming a top international brand for enterprise IT globally.
Sangfor representatives introduced several thrilling upcoming innovations including plans for the internationalization and expansion of our newest innovations like SD-WAN, Sangfor EDR, etc.. It also includes the upcoming international distribution of the aCloud 5.8.6 DR solution, AI powered Neural-X threat intelligence & analytics platform and Sangfor Security Butler, each of which are have been developed and tested locally and are soon headed straight for the international market.
Subject matter experts from NVIDIA (Jie Zhang) & INTEL (Alan Lee), shared their professional insights, inspirations and ideas to an excited crowd of participants anxious to learn about the recent partnerships that will be propelling Sangfor innovations to the next level.
Sangfor VIP Customer Sulistyo Aris Hirtranusi, IT Head of PT ASABRI (Persero), shared a testimony about the previous challenges they faced with their IT infrastructure and how Sangfor helped them solve their issues.
The closing Gala was a festival of inspiration and glamor with entertainers from the BKK University International Cheerleading Team, The Queens Cabaret, a Chinese Face Changing Master, and even a Magician from the Sangfor Hong Kong Office, all set to the exciting music of the famous Bangkok Jagger Band.
